Alice Miller, former editor of Studio Photography, now has her own business called Plum Communications. She also has a column in leading industry magazine Rangefinder and has interviewed me for a marketing column on how to get published in bridal magazines. This article will feature our Claudia Kronenberg Photography, the magazines that we've been published in and be in the February issue, just in time for the Vegas WPPI convention. During the interview process I realized that we have had a lot of press lately: Boston Weddings twice this year, Well Wed, The Knot, Cape Cod Bride, Boston Common Magazine and Nantucket Times! A busy year for us here on Nantucket.

Yesterday I shot a Bar Mitzvah at The Four Seasons in Boston and I promise to post some images once I get back into the studio after Christmas. I also met with two brides-to-be, one to be married at The Four Seasons as well and one on Nantucket.

We have a Milestone program here at Claudia Kronenberg Photography that documents the first year of baby's life. These are two that I shot today, two different babies who are brand new to Nantucket! We currently have about a dozen babies that we are photographing in various stages of pregnancy and their first year. This portrait session makes a great gift for showers or holidays as well.

Here at our Nantucket studio we have been very busy designing holiday cards! This is my holiday card this year designed by Libby and myself. It is a flat card, the left side is the front and the right is the back and it measures to 4"x8" and is printed on watercolor paper stock. I found this stock to be a perfect weight and texture and love how the colors pop. We custom design our cards and send our clients a PDF proof via email to approve. I should add that I took the photos of my three children and a wonderful California photographer, Jose Villa, out of Solvang, took the one of David and me while we were tasting some wine in the Santa Rita Hills.

Alison and Dave are having their Boston wedding next fall and I am honored to be their photographer. We went out the other day in Boston and had a lot of fun; they are so photogenic and fun to work with. I love these two images because they are different and capture their warmth in a unique way.

Our wonderful production and Photoshop wiz Libby Greene took this striking portrait of Eric and Kiri the other day. Even though it is winter on Nantucket there are wonderful places to photograph portraits and feel the warmth. This portrait would warm anyone's heart, especially their mom's (Kiri and Eric are brother and sister).

Lauren and Matt met me in the Boston's historic Beacon Hill the other day for a fun engagement session. They are getting married at the Courageous Sailing Center in Boston in July 2009 and it is exciting to be a part of their wedding day as I photographed Lauren's sister's wedding in Boston as well.
